Question on Symmetry

The Long Run

I've been looking at my pics for a while now (yes I'm vain, but don't mean to be) and notice my symmetry to me seems kinda off.

My legs seem bigger than the rest of my body and my shoulders seem to be lagging behind everything else? My front delts seem to keep up with my pecs but the sides seem to be less in width then they should be at this point.

Disregarding the water/fat weight around my waist (as I'm bulking right now), here are a couple of pics....

Hands on my waist;

Hands down by side;

Measurements so far;

Height: 5'9.5"

Weight: 180 lbs

Chest: 42.5"

Arms: 13.5"

Hips: 40"

Waist: 34"

Thighs: 22.5"

Calves: 15"

Forearms: 11"

Shoulders: 46.5"

Neck: 15.75"

I'm only doing squats for legs and they seem to be more than enough right now (could be genetic).  I'm also doing only military press for shoulders.

What do you think? Do the sizes seem proportionate? Should I add some side dumbell lateral raises for the shoulders or nay?

your arms are a bit thin, but you look fine. (fine as in okay, not Iwannameetcha)
How long have you been training?
If you're going to do a lot of shoulder work, I'd add in some work for the internal rotators to keep things in balance, or you could wind up with shoulder trouble like some of us.

Your wrists seem to be comparatively small. I also have small wrists, and it makes developing arms much more difficult. To make them look proportional to the rest of your body, the muscles need to be enormous. On the other hand, the picture will change dramatically when your body fat goes down. At higher body fat percentages, your arms will look as if they were a bit lagging. The hint to develop the shoulders is excellent because this can change the picture dramatically.

Actually to look more like a BB'er, traps, lats, and triceps make the biggest difference from the frontal view. Chest is a necessity from the side views.
So I always face people.

Thanks for the input. I do think my forearms have been a weak link in my physique and workouts. They hate to put on any mass even if I work them directly, which I have done.

I have noticed in the mirror/real life my body doesn't look that bad. Maybe its just my cam, which I know is not the best, that makes me look like the way I do in pics.

I guess that's why I was so bewildered and posted this. In the mirror I'm quite satisfied with my results, minus the stomach and waist, obviously. But something just doesn't seem right in the pics, besides my forearms.

You also can't see my lats very well in the pics, but if you saw me in real life they are obvious.

So...maybe I just just shut up and train and gain until later down the road.

Thanks for the input again (and for being nice, lol) it was appreciated.

We're never nice - we're just honest with a little more education and sensitivity than you'd see on other sites.

If you want more shoulder width...you may try side lateral raises (sitting and standing). If you are benching from multiple angles, your front delts may be getting enough work as it is. You can add these to for width (Vince Gironda felt these were necessary for width and that many BB's had overdeveloped front delts and lacked in the side department). You look fine though.
