Repitition Speed

As long as you are in control of the weight throughout it doesn't really matter. I just focus on slow negative portion of the rep no matter what rep range. in reality it's probably only a 2 to 2.5 sec neg then an explosive concentric. Hope this helps
 
I would add that according to the HST FAQ, rep speed when you are at your starting weights for 15's, 10's and 5's, since weights are "light", you can slow down the rep speed to still make the sets challenging, and do your reps in a controlled manner later in the week.
