Satire: A Necessary Supplement?

Okay...time for a little transparency...Every since I started drinking protein power with dry milk or maybe even almond milk...I have been a regular flaguence machine! How embarrassing! I probably could power a small country with my gas producing skills! If this is bad enough, I can imagine bodybuilding shows with guys like Ronnie Coleman and Jay Cutler seeing who can out gas the other!

I mean, this is really starting to become habitual and shameful. I will be at work and guarding the door to the jewelry store and then I have to pass gas. Needless to say, customers walk right into a toxic gas cloud!

So maybe the necessary supplement is probably Tums or Gas-x. I dunno...until then...may the gas be with you.

Ya know, a friend of mine who isn't into working out has pointed out repeatedly how bad the gas is from his friends who take protein.

Then again, he also claims that he's noticed creatine makes them meaner. I don't know about all that.

The infamous protein farts...

I don't use protein supplements as much as I used to and I don't have problems anymore. Some people also seem to have fewer problems with flatulence when they mix their protein with water instead of milk, but I don't know if that actually works.

I never really thought about the protein causing it. I just figured it was all the beans I eat everyday.

I probably do have about 2-3 protein shakes a day mixed with milled flaxseed and milk. Of course, the milled flaxseed is full of fiber too.
