SD-Duration and Effects

I've looked through a bunch of the forums so as not to repeat. It's possible that I still am. Apologies in advance.

I know it's suggested that SD last about 12 days.
I'm about to go on a vacation that willf orce my SD to extend to about 15 days,
it's unavoidable, and I won't be able to work out durinf the vacay so as to start my next cycle sooner.
is it going to truly set me back?

And keep cals at maintenance or more if doing lots of cardio type actvities.
 
You never want to SD too little. Nothing wrong with 15 days.
 
I just came off of a 15 day SD, and other than feeling weak and sore, I don't regret it a bit (I was also healing an injury)
 
I usually SD for 2wks &amp; recommend as such. More SD is fine, too little can hinder results. Just be sure you have all your max's done before you start your SD.
