SD for individual body part during a cut?

Just wondering what ppl thought on Using a SD say 9 days for upper body and then 9 days for lower body

If i read the FAQ correctly, I would lose out on too much muscle mass if i did a SD during a cutting cycle. If I workout just lower body and forget about upper body for 9 days and then just reverse the next 9 days, would that be enough to keep prevent loss of muscle and still have an effective SD during my cut?

No. Why would you want to SD during a cut? You need to be working the whole body while cutting calories. Just working the lower body isn't going to prevent muscle loss in the upper body and vice versa. I wouldn't worry about taking an SD during a cut. Just keep working until you are done cutting, then spend a couple weeks at mainetenance while still lifting before you take an SD.
 
Definitely not, SD is for erasing muscle memory and is applicable to your whole body.

Secondly it is not need during a cut, it is meant to induce hypertrophy for the HST program.
