Hey guys should i still SD before starting HST even if this last routine i just finished doing was really low volume strength routine? I think the last two weeks of this program was a few light sets of squats one day then one set of heavy squats on another day. Same with deads. Just no real volume. I feel like i havent had a decent challenging leg day in ages trying these lower volume strength/powerlift style routines. I lost so much muscle and strength cutting last year im paranoid as heck about losing anymore.
There is no hard and fast rule. If you feel rested and ready to take on the world, go for it. If not, take a week off.
G'day! If you're starting a proper HST cycle I definitely would, just to decondition enough. I wouldn't think you'd lose significant mass. Just so you can go into the cycle primed and ready and for it to have maximum effect But up to you obviously! Sent from my SM-A520F using Tapatalk
