Shoulder stretching

Don't do flyes or heavy shrugs? BLASPHEMY!!!
I didn't understand half of the exersizes he talked about. Like the "W" and "Y" things...is he just standing there, or going from one to the other, or doing a lateral reverse raise on them, or...
I prefer articles that don't assume we are all sports physiologists or rehabilitation coaches.
 
I've had serious shoulder problems since the end of January. I stopped all pressing AND pulling exercises and started doing a lot of direct rotator cuff movements. My shoulder didn't seem to get any better. As a matter of fact, I'm now convinced that I was further irritating it and making it worse. 5 or 6 weeks ago I stopped all the direct rotator cuff exercises and took Rippetoe's advice. I started doing light weight high rep OH presses WITH PROPER FORM (elbows in front of the bar in the starting position and a shrug at full extension). I used an empty bar (45lbs) and 2-3 sets of 20-25 reps. Today my shoulders feel better than they have in months.
