SizeOn or animal pak?

My diet is cool, plenty of protein and carbs.

Im currently using AST's 32X multi vitamin and ON's whey (bulk of my protein comes from tuna and chicken).

Ive heard some positive things about SizeOn and animal pak.

Kind of an odd pair to contemplate but here is where im coming from.  If in the long run, taking animal pak vs. a regular multivitamin would net better results then im all for that, as I can take it consistantly.

Now, if animal pak is no better than the AST multivitamin, Id like to consider adding SizeOn to my AST vitamin.  BUT, this brings me to a question.

Once you stop taking SizeOn, do the muscle gains remain or leave the way of water retention?  Do the strength gains also diminish once SizeOn is no longer in use?  If both occur, then I can do without, id rather keep my cash than feel great the month I take the SizeOn, only to follow it up with  feeling like crap the month I stop...:D

Im also extremely skeptical, as ive taken creatine monohydrate and it was a waste of my time.  I know, I know, ive seen people take it and increase their strenght big time, as well as size but not I.

Thoughts? Thanks.

sorry, i dont have any familiarity with those two products so i cant offer you much there.

my overall opinion of supplements is that they are a small percentage (if any)of the equation only AFTER proper diet (bulk or cut) has been in place for a while. the worthwhile ones (opinions vary) will do next to nothing if your not maximizing your nutrition intake. i believe your example explaines my thinking. a diet rich in meat protiens (chick, fish, beef) contains ample amounts of  commonly used supplements such as creatine, amino acids and omega 3s. some still use these supps so as to never be "low" but you should not expect to see a big diff. in appearance or performance if they were never in short supply to start with.

also, as a general rule i stay away from any product whose marketing name is an insult to my intelligence..... swole.... ripped force...deep cutzz...animal pak...sizeon...etc,etc....but thats just me, hopefully others will have some input.

good luck

Appreciate your input.

Ive pretty much ruled out the use of the animal pak vitamins, im sure my multivitamin works just fine.

However, I can't seem to talk myself out of the SizeOn, the allure of the creatine...haha. Ive seen some crazy things happen with its use, too bad monohydrate wasn't my friend.

I found the SizeOn for $30 ($5 to ship), so as you can imagine, compared to the $47 most people are asking, it makes it attractive....someone either talk me out of it or talk me into it...:D

bluejacket's right anything with a dumb name is usually bogus, or some produt that works mixed with crap that doesn't work. If creatine's what you want, take pure creatine. What was your problem with monohydrate? Upset stomach?

I should also say, imo: lifting, protein, carbs, creatine and steroids, these are the only things that will make a noticable difference to your growth, other things are not worth the money, and/or not effective. I don't condone steroids, I just put them in because they work...

I'm a nonresponder and I've read that about 30% of the guys are too. But for the others, creatine is the best supp out there. (especially since it works for them)

I like the thot about bogus junk using fancy names to get your money...BTW, I tried 'Spike' recently and thot it was weak for a thermo, and REAL weak for the price. ...So much for well-known BB websites, huh?

Think the product names are designed to appeal to the target audience aka kids.

I emailed gaspari nutrition, their reply, check out the more popular BB forum.

I replied yeah, they love creatine monohydrate, too bad it didn't work for me.

I took creatine about 10 yrs ago, I took it religiously, exercised religiously, felt no strength gains or noticable size difference.

So, I was thinking maybe a creatine with a different delivery system might work, why im considering the SizeOn, its supposedly using the latest and greatest gluconate.

Who knows, I completely understand what everyone is saying, but you know how it is, the idea that it might work, makes it so tempting to try out.

Thanks

thats exactly what they are hoping you'll think. oh well, give it a shot...its only money and weve all got plenty of that.

good luck

Well folks, I ordered it. Ive upped my calories this week, so by the time the product arrives, I should have a base weight to go from, so I can't blame any initial weight gain on the excess food consumption.

Hell, $30 why not. Over a 10 yr period, this is the only supplement, other than protein ive bought so...im due to experiment...haha

I started the 15's this week, first day felt like freaking cardio, second workout, yep, cardio...haha. I do workout twice a day on the workout days. I think im gonna take a half serving with each workout, gaspari nutrition recommended a serving after each workout but they aren't paying for the dang stuff and I don't like parting with my cash...haha. Hell, lets say I do get motivated and gain purely from a placebo effect, it was worth the $30 right?

If anyone gives a hoot, I will keep you all updated. I will keep track of my weight and keep my caloric intake the same, no cheating.
