Warmups and sets

For those doing 1 set of 15, 2 sets of 10, and 3 sets of 5, how much do you warm up?

I read "warmups" in the HST FAQ forum. That's a lot of warmup before 5 rep exercises! I don't think I could stick with that. My workout is getting too long already. What do most people do?

It depends on how heavy you're going in the 5's. For chest, I do about 4 warm-up sets. The first 2 I go to 10 reps (2x135), the next 2 about 6-8 reps (1x205-225, 1x275-300) so I don't get too tired. Then 3 sets of 5x325-350 for my work sets depending if I'm at the begging or end of the 5's. If you're 5's are lighter, then 2-3 warm ups are good. Keep them light enough that you can do them quickly & not leave you tired.
Now with that said, I move on to other exercises that will benefit from this warm-up so I don't have to do anymore, as shoulders, tri's, etc.. are go to go after this.
Then when I get to legs, I do the same thing again to warm up.
