What to have pre workout on a flat/tired day

I would say caffine, but i need a good answer also, I work out late at night and I do not want to take caffine cause it will keep me up all night...are there any alternatives?
 
I find that candy gives me a little rush. It's not as strong as caffeine and ephedrine stack, but atleast it doesnt keep me up all night.
 
Guarana is an herb containing caffeine, so they are essentially the same. Potency is an issue with any herbal form of caffeine, ephedra, etc.., so you are better off buying a straight caffeine pill so you know exactly how much you are getting.
 
if you lift late at night and want to avoid the caffeine buzz and end up watching the late late late late show, you might try something like power drive (biotest). The main ingredients are tyrosine, phoshpatidylcholine and dmae. I think the phospha.... is the main active ingredient. It really helps you stay focussed on a 'bleh' day. Not e&c, mind you, but a little something, ya know?
