Calcium and hypertrophy

Not calcium persay, but calcium is a good mineral, as long as it's not excessive.

Calcium for an adult is about 1000mg per day, RDA. Equal to 3 to 4 glasses of milk. If you eat right you generally get all you need.

Nancy Clark, a respected sports Nutritionist posts many articles and has some on calcium Here

Do you know how to get that calcineurin? By getting calcium?

It's amazing that if it really play a role in muscle growth we have never heard of it..

I know it has something to do with leaking into the sarcoplasm and it is a signal path to release MGF, if I remeber correctly??

Also I believe it is a type of protein not necessarily the mineral calcium.

I am sure someone else could explain it a lot better than me, I really haven't taken the time to explore it. Ilfacell would be good at that.

There are several studies that site it and is called Ca2+ as well. Here is a good review.
