6 servings with 2-hour intervals covers a 12-hour period. Two hours after your last dose, you're at 14 hours. If you go to sleep then, you're still getting 10 hours of sleep. Are you sleeping more than that?
On lowered carbs: Focus on getting your target protein and EFA's. Then use carbs to fill up your calorie target for the day. If you're trying to reduce calories, don't cut the protein or EFA's: cut the carbs.
