I'd take it every day of the week, training or otherwise :)

Just the flat teaspoon a day would suffice.

If cost is an issue I suppose half a flat teaspoon on non-training days would suffice.

But on training days, half a flat before and after training is good medicine.

You can get away with 5g for 5 days a week or load for 3 days a week, off for 4 in most cases (weight dependent). Creatine stores are lost at about 3g/day (+/-) weight.
