Finasteride and gains

i'm taking 1.25 mg finasteride per day to stop balding. does anyone know if reducing dht will slow down my gains?

i understand dht is more androgenic than testosterone, so having less could be bad, but testosterone increases somewhat while using finasteride.

I was on that a couple years back. I wasn't using weights at that time but I did exercise. I do not think it made any difference in any strength increases I had. I would probably worry more about the cancer threat that has been in the news recently about this drug.
