Ive read from multiple sources that fructose has the tendency to replenish hepatic glycogen rather then skeletal muscle glycogen. Would anyone care to tell me why this is? Please include everything you can about isomers, enzymes, pathways, etc... I'm interested in the biochemistry behind it. Thanks alot
