Omega-3 and CLA

I just read you FAQ about nutrition and Diet, BTW, GREAT job, very, very good. People (including me) should do their homework (read the FAQs) before asking questions in the forum.

But I still didnt get one thing, probably because I didnt understand well one part.

I was a little obese during childhood and my teen years. How could omega-3 and CLA (whats that?) help me?
