I am looking to create a post workout protein for a cheap as possible. I'm probably going to use proteinfactory.com to do it.

The question is, which types of post workout proteins should I use? Whey in my pre workout is cheap and available at 20 bucks for 5 pounds. But the question is regarding the casein stuff.

Micellar Casein is cheaper than the aussie stuff at $11 per pound (at least for the next 6 months, but mark my words the U.S. dollar will rise against the austrailian dollar and make aussie cheaper again). But egg white protein is also around 13 bucks a pound... that will come down later..too because of the commodity prices. Stupid bubbles.

Anyways, but for now, Milk protein is 8 bucks a pound and and Micellar is 11. Does anyone have any other ideas of what to throw in?

It doesn't matter too much about digestion times... just buy what gives the most bang (grams of protein) per buck so long as you aren't buying a high fat, high cholesterol unhealthy can of dirt.
