stores selling only 0 carb or 0 protein drinks

Have you noticed how when you try to buy a pre-workout drink from GNC, its almost impossible to find one that contains both protein and carbs. Its either one or the other, why do they do this? Considering that all the research says you need both around your workout, why dont companies make this stuff?
 
um because then you can create the proper ratios for yourself. People have different needs. Something tells me that you'll be able to mix protein powder and carb powder together if you really want to.
 
I'll venture the opinion that companies would prefer it if you bought BOTH the carb and protein drink (more $$$)...rather than them trying to cater to a consumer group with diverse needs.

Just get your own carbs and protein and mix (if you insist on having a shake).
 
Just do it yourself. It`s lot cheaper than by manufactured so-called pre-workout drinks.

Just take maltodextrine and whey. Then add some creatine. There you go!
