now why didn't i consider carb cycling?
i had huge results with UD2 so will use that when i'm cutting down in the future. i am not trying to cut now, just put on lean mass without too much fat.

unfortunately, due to my schedule i workout at a huge variety of times.
i think you're right in that i just need to experiment with it a little and monitor my body closely.

I've trained using HST in the past and have always gained mass on it, however, i always gained a little more fat than i wanted.
Could a carb cutoff be used here to minimise fat gains? or would this interfere with gaining muscle? meals after the carb cutoff would be almost entirely protein...
OK here's a real beginner Qn:
i'm doing 1-2 sets per body part for my workouts. But, when it gets to the final day of a mesocycle (e.g 15s) and i lift my 15/10/5RM do i only do 1 set?
In other words, if the xRM takes me to failure then would i do a second set?
Sorry if this sounds confusing...
Should I continue to take creatine during the SD period before my first HST cycle?

What type of warmup should I do for my workouts? e.g. should I do 1 really light set of each exercise before the working set?
