15,10,5s in one week

So I was wondering what people thought about this tweak to HST, doing 15's on mondays, 10's on wednesdays, and 5's on fridays. Increasing weight by the proper increments every workout.

Any success stories? Or advice for starting this routine?

i used this for one cycle and i liked it,the only thing is it doesnt take advantage of progressive load, correctly anyway.

i would recommend sticking to the basics.

The other problem you may encounter with it is that you get to a point at the end of 6 weeks where every w/o is an RM w/o in the same week so you are unlikely to be as strong as you would be if your RM workouts were spaced out more ias per normal HST.

And that is the same reason I'm abandoning my idea of all 3 ranges done in each workout - it would make for a very short cycle with a REALLY doggone HARD last week!
I guess it was a bad idea while it lasted.

The good NEW ideas are in the reps thread.

It is the way I do it and it keeps me fresher mentally. The only downside I have found is, if you workout at home, you end up changing weights around a lot more each workout.
