1st HST Cycle

Hey,

Could someone recommend me a routine for my first HST cycle?

Also, im really not sure how I know im eating enough a day, do I count the calories on the back of everything I eat?

If anyone could give me a quick example of a days eating (17 years old), that would be great...
 
at 17 stick with compounds dont go mad for lifting heavy concentrate on good form,you will gain better and have less trouble with injuries later.
squats
bench-press db or bb
chins
dips
low pulley rows..or bent- over-rows
millatery press..or any shoulder-press
calf raises
thats should be fine

Learn to read labels, start measuring everything you are not sure of and look it up online. Eventually you'll be able to eye the measurements yourself. Count all your calories, it's the only way to know for sure how much you are eating. Some guys may recommend that you just eat enough that you are gaining fat, but I seriously think you need to count calories for best results, otherwise how can you know how to tweak your diet if you aren't making gains?

For a routine, what faz posted looks good.

Compounds, easy on the heavy stuff, count calories, good form, warm up properly.
