I've learnt boat loads just scrolling through old threads on this site.
I'm just trying to understand a few things about MAPK p38 and erk 1/2.
1.
Is erk 1/2 the primary (or most efficient) pathway for increasing metabolic capacity (muscle quality)? Or is it only mentioned because it has some cross over effect in hypertrophy?
2.
From what I've seen the p38 pathway can be heavily manipulated through the type of mechanical activity (eccentric/loaded stretch) and several other factors e.g. hypoxia (as above). Wouldn't HST involve integrating those techniques?
