Bench Press: Where should the bar touch?

I started out with dips, but now prefer decline bench. Some guys get hurt with dips because of the extreme stretch to the pecs and front deltoids at the bottom. I mainly switched, because decline bench seems to emphasize my pectorals better, while dips emphasizes triceps more. (My triceps are a strong point, chest a weak point, hence my choice)

I would have to go with decline bench as overall safer for the shoulder joint than dips also.
