best mass building for arms

...are you saying that because you haven't made any gains in your arms this cycle that you will be doing some isolations for arms next time to ensure this doesn't happen again?

Hey there Lol--exactly. I'm going to do direct arms training during my next cycle because I didn't make any gains there this time around. I was only able to maintain the pipes with compounds-only training, even though I was eating above maintenance. However, I'm only going to do a couple of sets a week each for biceps and triceps--for starters, anyway. Trying to figure out the combination of load, frequency, and volume to which they'll respond.

I'm really going to go for a good stretch in the arm muscles with the isos which I find much harder to do with upper-body compounds.

I get a great biceps stretch with stiff-legged or regular deads (top part of the movement) and incline dumbbell curls. The triceps extension is good stretch-point movement for your tris.

Best of luck on your first cycle!
