Training for fiber type isn't exactly correct, especially when looking at loads that represent anything around 80-90% 1RM, as pretty much all fiber types will be recruited and will experience hypertrophy.
When looking at training for performance then yes different modes of training would be beneficial.
Now looking at volume, it's not that the fiber type is the issue, it's the amount of volume and enzymatic processes and signaling changes that occur with additions or deletions in volume.
