Critique my HST workout

hey just getting into HST, finishing my first week this friday. This is basically what I have so far, A/B split Mon-Wed-Fri and cardio and core on off days.

Note: I put 15 reps just to remind myself of the max because im still messing around with the weights usually between 13-15 reps per set for these 2 weeks, then i will reduce reps for the following weeks.

A workout
Leg press - 2x15
Squats 2x15
Calf Raises - 2x15
DB incline chest - 2x15
Lat pulldown - 2x15
DB Shoulder Press - 2x15
Tricep pushdown - 2x15
DB curl - 2x15

B Workout
Leg extensions 2x15
Deadlifts 2x15
DB flat bench 2x15
Cable Row 2x15
DB shrugs - 2x15
Tricep cables - 2x15
BB curl 2x15

Just curious why you do leg press and squat. Squat should be plenty as should deads. Leg press and leg ext. really are just supplemental or even overkill at times. As you go heavier you may also find it beneficial to use barbell exercises instead of db's. Doing heavy cable work for tri's also can be hard (try dips, close grip bench). Just suggestions, but good luck and hope this helps.

thanks for reply

i can't squat or deadlift yet because im still recovering from a broken jaw, so i have the leg press in there for now to hit quads but as i get better i will take out leg press!

However, if you do still want to do leg press in addition, I recommend pairing squats with leg curls or something for the hams, and then pairing leg press with deadlifts. This is if you need to bring up your legs. For someone who has good legs already, just squats and deads should be sufficient though you may want to throw in some ham work still. For me, deads mostly hit my hams, glutes and back, so if I were trying to bring up legs, I would definitely pair it with leg press.
