Having just finished my 2nd cycle I have found my new 5RMs for deads and squats.
My squat was 300lb (~136kg) for 5 reps but my deads were 355lb (~161kg) for 5 reps, a 1:1.18 ratio.
Just wondering whether it's usual for deadlift poundages to be higher than for squats? Are my ratios ok or do they indicate that I need to work on one lift more than the other?
I realise that limb lengths and other variables will make a difference to how much a person is able to use in either lift so I'm only after a general idea. I'm 5' 10" and don't have long arms
