ive just started taking some staminade, which contains dextrose, straight after my workout with a bit of wey. However, i was wondering if it was appropriate due to the fact that i wouldnt call my hst workouts very 'physicaly exausting'. would i be better off with something more along the lines of wey and juice?

As long as you are eating sensibly, I don't think dextrose post-workout is necessary. However, if you are restricting carbs for whatever reason, preworkout dex could be a good idea, assuming it fits in to whatever diet plan you are on.

Some guys use juice, but maltodextrin and dextrose are easy and help the whey make a good shake. And they're very simple carbs so you get glycogen reload quickly, but I use the shake from 1/2 hr. before the workout, through it and after if any is left over. I've found the carbs during the workout to give more energy and fight fatigue.
Speaking of which, why are your workouts that easy; you in great condition, or the first stages, or just working very light? The only easy workouts I see are in the early 15's.

Yeah, it sounds like you might need to re-evaluate your workloads.

by easy i dont mean i feel as though im curling a pen. what i should of said is that i dont lift until failure, which in comparison seems lighter to when i sued to go to failure in past routines. i still break a sweat, and it seems cahllenging, but it dosnt throtle my body.

That's normal for HST then. You're good.
Now eat.
