I just took an onlne diet analyzer that was very thorough and fairly accurate at finding my caloric intake, etc.
The funny part is that even though I answered that I exercise about 4 hours/week, that I exercise at a professional intensity, that I am a very active person, that I am male, 6'1" and 195 lb.s. It said I was a little overweight! I have about a 34" waist and at 6'1" if that is overweight, then I must be crazy. Of course I guess this analyzer doesn't take into account people with high-muscle density like bodybuilders. In bodybuilding circles, even natural ones, 195 lb.s at 6'1" is considered somewhat small! Also another funny thing is that it said I am consuming about 2500 calories/day and I need to cut back. Actually I am consuming a little more than this, but again the diet analyzer doesn't take into account people who may be hypertrophying their muscles on purpose and this may take about 3500 extra calories/week.
I just thought it was funny, that if I wasn't a bodybuilder, just another joe-schmoe, I would be considered overweight and an overeater. But as a bodybuilder I still think I need to gain some more mass! This analyzer automatically assumes you are some weak, flabby guy, who wants to lose some weight and look like a frail fashion model. Of course I knew that the analysis would be wrong since there was no way for it to tell my bodyfat% and my musculature level, or my fitness goals, I just wanted to see the results for entertainment pruposes.
