Diuretics

I'm looking for something to help me shed the water weight and keep it off. Someone recommended diuretics. Good? Bad? Please post all experiences you've had using diuretics.

There is no such thing as shedding water weight and keeping it off....unless you remain in a dehydrated state. If you want to look leaner just do some cardio and sweat it out. There is not always an easy way out.
