Eat less on off days?

I'm currently trying to bulk -- once I figure out what's up with my shoulder. I know you should be eating more on training days and less on off days. Am I the only one that has a larger appetite on my days AFTER training? Any suggestions? It just feels I can eat so much more within the 24 hours after a workout but that seems to go against the common rule of eating more on training days. Will this really make that much of a difference?

Thanks in advance

You should eat more on your workout day than off day. With one important exception.

If you work out at night, your workout day actually extends through the next noon/afternoon, and your off day extends through just before your pre-WO nutrition for your workout.

cheers,

BIZ made a good post earlier on carb cycling.  Off days are carb limited to @75grams or less.  Workout out days are maybe twice that.  Weekends are a big carb blowout (at least that's what I call it).  Total calories consumed should also be higher on workout days than off days.  This has worked really well for me thus far. Have dropped a kilo of fat and gained close to a kilo of muscle in the past couple weeks.

I must have been using that new math because after recalculating, since the start of my 5th cycle, I`ve gained over 3kg of muslce and lost over 2kg of fat. Quite excited how well this cycle is going.
