If you want to cut body fat, then you need to cut your calories to a 500 calorie deficit per day.

So figure out how many calories you eat in a day. Then either cut them back, or increase your exercise and cardio to bring that number up.

I eat a lot of good stuff but I cannot make maintence on rice, fish and brocoli, so I still eat a lot of sugars and fats. I ate 4130 calories today which left me with a 400 calorie deficit. I want to bulk, but right now I bike where I go so I cant get enough food into me. So for the next little bit I will be cutting and I hope to have a sweet six pack.

I'm no expert when it comes to cutting, but I've read a hundred bodybuilding articles that usually point out that there are a bazillion chemical interactions going on in the body at one time, all requiring certain nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and water.
In a nutshell: crap in / crap out. Eat crap to grow crap. Most guys who just 'dirty bulk' end up really fat, so why think you could eat junk on a cut and succeed? Bulking you wanna grow muscle, and cutting you wanna save it. Same diet; lower cals.

Partitioning is determined by genetics and hormones, not so much by what you eat. Bulking 'dirty' will not make you gain more fat than you would eating the same amount of calories of 'clean' food. You will not burn more fat from cutting on clean food than you would if you cut with 'dirty' food. Cutting while eating fairly clean may keep you feeling full longer, which can help control hunger and cravings.

Are you kidding me?? I have 182 lbs lean body mass, and I have to eat 2500 calories a day to lose fat... and that is with moving furniture all day, lifting, and running.

Yep, you're best bet in affecting your p:ratio is exercise, not food.

Hehehe, well, he must be a really extreme sports guy like Totz said. Anyway, be it as it may, the point is still right, eat at a deficit (of calories, of course)..
