Have a protein shake loaded with peanut butter/tuna/whole milk/protein powder/whatever else in your backpack and take a swig from it whenever you can. Some of the protein bars out there have a ton of calories in them.

It sounds like you still have plenty of time to eat. How many calories do you need to hit in the day? A lot of us have full time jobs here, yet manage to get in the calories still. But if you really can't get enough outside of school, then follow steve's suggestions. I'd suggest something that won't taste like dog butt once it gets warmed up, or keep a cooler so it stays cold. Some protein bars would be more convenient.
I'd still just try to get the food in outside of school. You are only there for six hours after all. That gives you ten other hours in the day to get in your required calorie amount.

a 61/2 hr block twice a week isnt all that bad. im not saying its easy but like others have said your got a lot of time left on those days and 5 other days to hit it hard. just get something in like a shake, milk, bars, sandwich etc.
for my work i was hardly doing the same thing in the same place 2 days in row so i just brought a big cooler with me (on the fire truck) everywhere that had my whole days food in it. i got goofed on all the time for it but you gotta do what you gotta do if your going to gain.

well i still have school on other days except tuesday. i just didnt want to eat most of my cals after school. that would be kinda tough...thanks for the comments

If you are really worried about missing a feeding time I would go with a protein bar because it is quick and easy. My personal favorites are the Next Protein Detour bars. They come in two different sizes. One around 180 cal. and one around 300 cal.

Tot, what does dog butt taste like?

I sometimes put little boxes of raisins, or a small bag of beef jerkey in my pockets when I have meetings and such in buildings where there is no food.

Okay...

Or, maybe six hours isn't going to make a big difference. Most of us who work full time jobs will have to go periods where we go 6-8 hours or whatever without eating, at least once in a while. It isn't a big deal.
Just make sure your total calories for the day are in line and you should be fine. Your body cannot catabolize much muscle in a mere six hour period. If you eat a decent meal before that six hour period, then I doubt your stomach would be empty by the end, or if it is empty, it wouldn't have been empty for very long.

Actually, I didn't know that. I wonder how long it is on an empty stomach before you go into catabolism. I mean for someone with a fairly normal metabolism, say middle of the road.

I'm not really sure what an empty stomach feels like...

Hey

I dont understand why you dont get any breaks at school. Highschool or post secondary?

I am in Community College with a class of 20 people I eat something every 40 minutes or so from my lunch until it is gone. I use my lunch hour for doing homework.

I sometimes did the same thing in high school but the teachers would get angry so only in some classes.

But liquid calories are a good bet if you cant have any food.

I would get some milk powder, some hot chocolate powder and anything else you want in their. Add some cold water to the dry ingredients, shake up, and drink down.

The hot chocolate powder will provide a lot of calories but make sure you can shake your bottle vigerously to mix it in.

Before school, eat a giant breakfast...eggs, meat, pancakes, toast, milkshake, potatos, cereal...don't stop until you feel you are going to puke.
6.5 hours later you get out of school....go to KFC and order a 12 peice meal with three large tubs of mashed potatos, gravy, slaw, etc. You also get 6 biscuits with that. With that breakfast and lunch you should be getting well over 5000 calories in a 8 hour period. I don't see a problem as long as you can afford it $$$.

Haha obviously you guys don't like to "clean bulk"

6 hours without food is bad for your metabolism no doubt, so eating anything at all will help. Ask to have a bathroom break or a little 5min break after 3 hours or whatever, if you can negociate with your teacher. Protein bar or shake in your pack is good too, use water not milk, milk isn't supposed to be out of the fridge for more than 30mins.

When I was a college, I used to take several cartons of milk in to lectures if I wasn't going to be able to eat for a decent length of time. It was pretty easy to get through them without disturbing the class and it kept my calories up.

You can still buy powdered milk. Mix with whey powder, some glutamine maybe, and creatine powder. Add water when you need to drink it, and as recommended, shake the crap out of it.

It's easy to bulk. It is hard to bulk clean. Unfortunately, I'm one of those who has to bulk clean. I'm lactose intolerant and have allergies to wheat.
