high protein and sweating

I was just wondering whether it was true that high protein intake causes people to sweat more. I don't know if its a myth or not but i've been off my usual high protein diet for about two months now and i've noticed i sweat alot less.
 
Not everyone. High protein does have a thermogenic effect on many people simply because the body is working harder and burning more calories to utilize it than it would spend utilizing carbohydrates.

For some people, this effect is more pronounced i.e. sweating. For others, not so much. Just eat the amount you need without getting too much and don't worry about if it gives you the sweats or not.
