I'm doing <span style='color:red'>HST</span> now, and I plan on doing 3 cycles of pure HST (halfway through 2nd now). After that, I plan on using Westside training, to really add a lot of strength. I haven't given it a ton of thought yet, but would it be possible to merge HST and Westside together? My initial reaction is no, because with the changing days (maximum effort and dynamic), the weights would be zig zagging a lot. And plus, you'd be training to failure on ME days, which would totally go against HST. Is there any possible way to stay away from failure, but still produce Westside-like strength gains, while using principles from both programs?
