Keeping gains...

I just finished the 2nd week of the 5s and may have broken my thumb this weekend (xrays in the a.m). I know I won't be able to do much but I just put on about 7 or 8 lbs that I would hate to lose. Any thoughts/suggestions?

What are the exercises you feel that you can do? I mean, can you use the rest of your fingers on the hand with the broken thumb? I that case you should be able to deadlift, maybe higher rep & lighter than normal, focusing on form and maintenance. You should also be able to squat, so that is a given.

It would probably be a good idea do SD now, instead of trying to do two more weeks of 5's.
