LDU's 1st HST training cycle (LOG)

Awesome gains - almost 13 lbs in 8 weeks! Looking forward to seeing the setup for your next cycle I'm sure your going to enjoy your SD
 
Gains seems solid, would've been nice if your stomach didn't grow that much though. A future lesson - not such high calories for your next bulk?

thanks mate, overall was really happy with how it went, with the weight gain thats mostly diet, i could gain 20lbs if i wanted! The measurements are the stat i was interested in.

on my third cycle now, all going well, trying to cut back 5 lbs or so.

appreciate your "lesson" but im fully aware of how to control my diet. I aimed for 1lb to 2 lbs per week, at 99% clean foods and hit those numbers. i believe overall my bulk went very well.

Just a quick update for anyone whos interested, still training using HST principles, everythings going very well. Each cycle im learning more and more about how to set things up better to suit me, aswell as what what volume works best.
Currently just hit 2nd week of 5's.
Ive split my sessions into 2 parts, and train 6 days a week, part A one day, next day Part B
part A
Decline Bench 3 sets + 2 Drop sets
Assisted Pull ups 3 sets + 2 Drop Sets
Bicep Curls 3 sets + 2 Drop Sets
part B
Deadlifts 3 sets
Shrugs 3 sets + 2 Drop Sets
Dumbell Shoulder Press 3 sets + 2 Drop Sets
Lying Tricep Extension 3 sets + 2 Drop sets

Also add abs in each Part A session

I find this is working really well, its 35-40 min session

heres my updated progress pics.

my weights are 88kg/193.6lbs(feb) 93.8kg/206.3lbs (April) 97kg/213.4lbs (current)

Session 6 - 5RM

Bench Press 100kg/220lbs 3 reps, +1, +1 x 2 sets , + Drop sets x 2 (100kg PB)
Pull Ups, 6kg assistance - 5 reps x 3 sets
Bicep barbell curls 45kg/100lbs x 3 sets x 5 reps , + Drop sets x 2 using preacher machine
Shoulder press 27.5kg/60.5lbs x 2 sets x 5 reps + Drop sets x 2
dips - Bodyweight x 5 x 3 sets + Drop sets (with assistance)
Deadlifts 140kg/308lbs x 5 reps x 2 sets
Shrugs 120kg /264lbs x 5 reps x 3 sets + Drop Sets

Body weight 99.2kg/218.24lbs

now for 2 weeks of 3RM with drop sets, try get some strength increases.
