i've just been wondering something, although i doubt it makes a huge difference in the end. when most people are bulking, for example, they'll say "i'm eating 3000 calories per day and doing HST 3 days per week with no cardio." should i eat 3000 calories each day or adjust on the days that i'm not training since you won't be burning as many calories that day? in the example i gave above i'd eat maybe 3200 calories on my weight training days and 2800 on off days so it averages out to 3000 calories. is this correct or should i just eat 3000 calories each day?

Depends on your goals. If you are bulking at all costs, definitely keep cals up even on non-training days. If you are trying to cut or keep fat gain to a minimum at the cost of maximal gains, you may want to back your cals down a bit.
