Meat info site

I need a good site for nutritional information of any and all kinds of meat. Mainly calories and protein per oz. Anybody got a good link?

www.fitday.com

An incredible (free) asset for tracking calories and learning the values of various foods.

edit: I just realized my signature has a link to my fitday log. Click the link, see what you can expect from it on the most superficial level. It gets much better and more detailed than that.

Awesome, just set up everything I ate today, thanks a ton. Took a while but soon enough I'll have it to where I rarely have to enter something new.

I know! It's great. Twenty seconds, 3x a day, and I don't have to worry about that whole "diet" portion of my training.

Edit: My only one complain would be that, as a person who doesn't cook for himself, I have no basis from which to judge food quantity. What the heck is a cup of chicken? lol

16 oz is a cup, however I wouldn't say thats the best way to measure chicken. Very odd indeed. Must be ground chicken but who grinds chicken much less puts it in a cup??

I finally found all the right measurements for the meats though after some thorough searching, there were many choices to measure it by the oz w/or w/o bones/fat.

Figured out after getting all the stuff out of the fridge and measuring all the info (even vitamins) for the meals I make that my ham and cheese sandwich is only 395 cals 25g protein, my hamburger which is a quarter pounder with double cheese on a potato bun with parmasano and ragu is only 637 cals and 48g protein and 37g fat. Which is amazing since a Big mac is smaller and 750 cals and 45g fat with only 25g protein.

Cook for yourself, you'll save money, eat better tasting food and it's healthier.
