I used the Bioelectrical Impedance method last night at my buddy's gym. I'm aware of its issues (hydration levels effecting its readings, etc), I've read Lyle's valuable article on this and other methods, but am still considering using one.
Have any of you guys used this method to track progress on a cut/bulk?
uHOh...I'm not laughing now...did the 3-point skinfold and I'm not happy. I think I'll go down to the local gym and get my sevenpoint tested by someone who does this all the time. That 19mm at the bellybutton is killin' my stats!

Well it does take a bit of training to produce consistent and accurate results with calipers. Did you do the test just once or did you repeat it a few times?
Getting someone else to do it might be a good idea as long as you are confident in their abilities to measure the same way each time.
