mickc1965 training log

oh wow, I measure mine once a week, I want my old size back but man it's a fight!
My waist used to average 31, then I got fat, it broke 40 inches! Rapidly got fat off, got it down to 34, now I eat way less, exercise more, eat lower carb and still, it varies from 33.5 to 34.25, balancing fat loss without losing muscle is tricky.

Nice workouts, your super consistent.

I think at the moment I am very focused on training partly due to the missus still being treated for Pancreatic Cancer and this is probably the only thing that I am able to control, if you know what I mean

Oh man your kidding, I'm so sorry man! I'm amazed you can do anything I'd be in a coma with worry, massive best wishes to you guys! Egads!

One of those things that life throws at you and you have to cope, I think training has been my coping mechanism and then in turn that has allowed me to help her going through what is now approaching 18 months of chemo, hopefully her treatment will be over at end of June / early July.

We appear to live in a cruel world, my missus is one of the loveliest people you could meet and I am blessed to share my life with her.

They are currently saying that all indicators (markers for pancreatic, colon, breast and ovarian cancer) are considered at normal levels so fingers crossed it seems to be heading in the right direction. Hopefully she is in a better situation than 12 months ago when we found out it had spread from the Pancreas to the Peritoneum despite 6 months of a very tough chemotherapy regime.

man I'm getting tired and over trained just reading your log! You have some great recovery

Didn't feel like I had recovered yesterday even though all targets achieved (except curls), have a day off today as had to have blood test (early walk in appointment at local hospital but need to be there at 6 am even though it doesn't open until 7.30 otherwise you end up at the end of a massive queue and are then late for work!!) so will just do some ab work tonight
