Morning workouts?

I hope I am not beating a dead horse but I work out first thing in the morning and was wondering what the best way to split up my meals, I get up at 4:40, at the gym by 5:30 and get my HST workout in an under an hour(just started the program). But I am unsure of when I should get my first meal/protein drink in. All the examples I have seen to date are for PM workouts as far as splitting your meals.

I would say take a Preworkout shake when you wake up, maybe with milk, and lots of carbs. Then postworkout shake immediately after workout. Then eat a solid meal after leaving the gym.
