Ok, I have 2 more weeks of HST cycle number 2, and I want to try a strength routine next, for like 4-6 weeks. My plan will be 2 HST cycles, 1 str cycle. So... This is also kinda gonna be cuttin... but I'm gonna be eatin a lot so the cuttin is just gonna come from the Kung Fu I'm also gonna be doin.
Basically, I've never done liftin for strength... so I have NO idea what I'm doing. I want to keep it simple so just maximal strength. So i'm thinking...
mon, wed, fri - Bench Press and Squat
tues, thur, sat - Bent Over Rows and Dead Lift
Thinkin 5 sets... 2 warm ups... then 1 set of a weight till almost failure, 1 set with more weight till almost failure and last set of (hopefully) close to max weight for like 1-2 reps.
What do u guys think?
