I was thinking about the creation of some kind of training software for the new touch-screen iPods when I came across this article:

Digital Lifestyle Fitness Companion

Whilst it's not a finished product it shows what could be possible with one of these new fangled gadgets.

I am sure Bryan and the Podfitness crew will be planning something too.

Would any of you folks be interested in something like this?
 
I doubt I could hear their instructions over the Pantera, Korn, Sevindust, Creed, etc...

Seriously, I doubt the efficacy of them being able to set up programs for us older lifters, since most of our response abilities totally depend upon our histories of gym time, types of training, injuries, diet, hormonal fallout, time, Vo2max, and a host of things. I just get in there and slam out a good session to the best of my abilities of the day, program, stressors, and knowledge base. Not to say that it wouldn't be good for newbies or younger people looking for fine tuning.
But a computer questionairre for a coach? I'd even wondered how the podfitness was going to get on for anyone with experience. Well, people enjoy belonging to clubs, so...
