The Perfect Diet?

It seems that we've come to understand that there are eeeevils out there in diet...like processed carbs, wrong fats, etc.; and another camp (Tot?) that says it's all only about caloric intake after protein requirements, regardless of nutrient timing, to give a simple prologue.

IF I WERE TO GUESS at what a 'perfect' diet would be, my CHOICE would be, at this point in my understanding, a diet similar to this, albeit expensive:

Fruitarian-style eating (nuts, fruits, veggies, uncooked)
Dairy proteins: whey around workouts, casein at night.
Flax or Udo's oil 3x/day
Pure Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Vitamin pack 3x/day
Meats: Red, about 1x/day, the usual chikken, fish, and lean cuts. (tip: if it says 'round', it's lean)
Eggs
Tofu or Soy product: occasionally. Men need estrogen too.
Oatmeal: the healthy grain.
Milk: fat percentage by body condition/goals

Inherent problems with this:
Expensive (fruits have gone way up here in Georgia, and carbs are cheap)
Meat and fruit? Euuuch! Potatoes save the day, lacking breads and such.
Fruit PooPoo.
Too simple. We crave variety and tacos.

edit: I'm adding the biblical information study available for those who care to seek this venue:

It's interesting reading, philosophy, and science.

Quadrancer, you need to start a garden and plant some pear, apple, and cherry trees.

I read that in the old days in Ireland, if your land was taken and you had fruit trees, you would be reimbursed (quite well too, I think) for any and all fruit trees on your former property.

My only problem with your diet is that I didn't see sauerkraut on your list. We all know that sauerkraut is a food group unto itself. Beer too.
