Why 15 reps for high rep sets?

Any particular reason 15 reps are used for the "burn sets" that stimulate erk 1/2? Any reason against using 20-30 rep sets? Given that the load is not the issue with erk1/2, I can't think of a reason, but I thought I'd ask the experts :D

  2. Hey Nathan, none that I am aware of, I believe Bryan uses 20 reps, I've used 20 and it worked fine. As always the length of your workout will increase with additional reps as will your diet needs (probably not much but some).

Thanks Dan. I am using a circuit of 2-3 sets of high reps (20-30) per set after my "heavy lifting clusters" to hit the erk 1/2 side of things as well as give me some cardio benefit - it takes about 20 minutes and gives me a sustained heart rate of about 130. I detest regular cardio especially if done on machines. I figure this will kill 2 birds with one stone, so to speak.
