    Are you saying that on average, 10 minutes of HIIT is the equivalent of 30 minutes of submax steady state? I was under the impression that steady state was the best way to go as far as fat loss was concerned, although I keep seeing everyone mentioning HIIT.

    The burn (during the set) is lactic acid, no? Flushing the muscle/tendons/joints with it is supposed to promote tendon strength. At least, that's what I got from reading the articles.
