Adding resistance to abs workout

Hello there,

rather a basic question: As I maxed out on all machines and cable movements, I need to find a way to add weight to movements such as leg raise and so forth. I have a dip belt, which of course is no good here as the weight simply hangs in between my legs.
what do you fellas propose?

You could try holding a dumbell between your feet. For leg raises I would imagine that this would make the exercise much more difficult, so not much weight would be needed.

For crunches/situps I just hold a dumbell on my chest or one in each hand (on each shoulder with crossed arms so they don't jiggle around)..

Not sure about leg raises, maybe just get a rope and tie a dumbell/plate on your legs?

:) (maybe put a small peice of cloth around the rope so you don't get rope burn.)
