Whats wrong with eating beans for protein ?
i'm a newbie to bodybuilding but i read somewhere that there is nothing wrong with eating beans for protein. It just has an insufficient amino acid profile. I read that in using beans as a source of protein, it is supposed to be mix with another source of protein (grains i think) to have a complete amino acid profile. Eggs (aside from whey) are supposed to contain the best amino acid profile.
dang, my fart is killing me!!!
Even if beans don't have the ideal amino acid profile, they are still good... Bryan states in his protein article that the quality of protein isn't as critical IF you are getting enough protein overall...
