Can creatine cause extra hair growth?

Can supplementing with creatine cause hair growth? And by creatine, I mean pure creatine -- none of the sugary ones or ones with extra supplements in them.

Bryan, I notice you italicized "cause". Does that imply that it can in someway contribute to increased hair growth? Or does it simply mean that creatine, in and of itself, has no bearing whatsoever on one's hairiness?

Creatine is just an amino acid. There's really no way that it could affect hair growth.

but then again by now I'd have hair growing on my tongue
